EAT & DRINK YOUR WAY THROUGH EUROPE'S
CULINARY & CULTURAL CAPITAL

Spend 10 days exploring Logroño, San Sebastian, Biarritz and Bordeaux.

 

Meander around the town of Logroño, Spain's wine capital. Eat pinxtos, or tapas, on Calle Laurel. Visit wineries nearby. Picnic along the river Tiron and stop by and see my friend and 4th generation winemaker, Pedro at Bodega Urbina.

 

Take a day to visit the wineries of Haro and have another picnic. Visit Bodegas Muga, Cvne, Rioja Alta, et al and drink some great wine.

 

Head out to San Sebastian and eat some of the best food in the world at one of the best restaurants in the world. Wonder the streets of San Sebastian. Feast at a cider house and enjoy Txakolina and eat a steak in the Basque country. Take a personal guided tour of the tapas bars in San Sebastian.

 

Take a day or two and spend on the coast of Biarritz. Spend the morning in the market and eat truffles, fresh seafood, and honey bread.  Go to the wine bars in the evening and eat, drink & be merry all while being personally attended by the owner and sommelier, Antoine Vignac. Then go to Bar Jean and eat a delicious meal and drink some Basarana!

 

****Trips are $3,750.00 per person and include all organized meals, hotel, tours, tastings, sites, ground transportation, donation to charity, etc.  

Airfare is not included. Ideal group size is no more than 10 - 16 ppl. Will add more dates/trips if there is overflow.
