Discover the Magic of Colombia: Cartagena & Barranquilla

Step into the heart of the Caribbean coast with a retreat that blends colonial charm, coastal rhythms, and unforgettable cultural experiences. This trip takes you to two of Colombia’s most vibrant cities—Cartagena & Barranquilla—each offering its own unique flavor of color, music, and soul.

Cartagena enchants with its cobblestone streets, bougainvillea-draped balconies, and centuries-old walls. Explore the historic walled city, sip cocktails at rooftop bars with ocean views, and watch the sunset from a sailboat in the bay. Dance to the rhythms of salsa and champeta, sample fresh ceviche from local markets, and meet artisans whose work tells the story of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Barranquilla, the birthplace of Shakira and home to one of the world’s largest carnivals. Whether you visit during Carnival or not, the city pulses with music, street art, and Afro-Caribbean spirit. Dive into the city’s dynamic street food scene, connect with locals, and immerse yourself in authentic cultural moments off the beaten path.

This is a vibrant, sun-soaked, soul-stirring experience that will leave you changed, inspired, and wanting to see more of Colombia.

    Day 1

    Arrival. Be picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. Get settled. Take a nap, have a spa treatment, go for a swim. Meet together for a group dinner.

    Day 2

    Wake up and have breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Barranquilla to explore the city, have a wine tasting and dinner with my friends, Tatiana & Habib.

    Day 3

    Beach day. Our tour guide Diego will take us to the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. For evening, we will dine at one of Colombia’s most well known and loved restaurants.

    Day 4

    City day. Explore the sites of Old City and meandering through the streets and shops.

  • Day 5

    Day on own to relax at the hotel, shop, find a rooftop, see more sites, swim, etc. We will help you!
